TBX Records owners Perky Wires return to Jamie Jones's Hottrax label with the superb ‘Back To The Old School EP’.

Spain-based pair Perky Wires have been on a swift rise in recent years. Their productions have taken them to the Top 10 of the Beatport charts and seen them release regularly on their own TBX as well as further afield on the likes of Deeperfect, Glasgow Underground, and of course, Jamie Jones’ Hottrax.

The title track kicks off with rattling percussion, mystic leads, and whispered vocals, underpinned by a killer
bassline that never quits. 'Tribute of Groove' is a more cosmic exploration with wispy pads and liquid chords melting around the drums. Round is 'Jade', an impossibly silky and spaced-out gem with bumping drums and psychedelic FX.
